Xilinx ISE window closes when opening a project error SOLVED

If the window closes when you try to open a project follow the next steps

go to the location (note that 12.2 is the version of xilinx in my case)

c:\Xilinx\12.2\ISE_DS\ISE\lib

change the name of these files located in the lib folder.

1. libPortability.dll                        to         libPortability.dll.orig
2. libPortabilityNOSH.dll             to        libPortability.dll

Open Xilinx again, it should work fine
