what should I revise for the first year of Electronic Engineering and communications at Queen Mary University?

These subjects will be the same for most electronic engineering courses, if you are not studying communications then ignore communication and networks

read the entire book data and computer communications by William Stallings (recommended), is not necessary to read it in depth but at least the main Ideas in the book

Analog Electronics

(BOOK: Schaum basic circuit analysis) final exam based on the whole book)

Digital circuit design

(Binary numbers, combinational and sequential circuits design, state diagrams etc)

Electronic Engineering Mathematics

(Integration, differentiation, Complex numbers, partial differentiation, series, vectors, applications of integration).

Communication and Networks

(OSI model up to and including network layer)

Introduction to multimedia

(Characterization, vision, graphics, colour, images, transforms, sampling, compression, audio) JavaScript knowledge required.

Signals and information

(Trigonometric fourier series, Continuous signals, discrete signals)

Programming

(java)
